After the completion of the University cost-savings measures in the University Library System (ULS), there has been a reorganization of professional staff assignments. Mrs Shirley Leung and Ms Maria Lau join Dr Colin Storey and Mrs Rita Wong in forming the senior strategic management team of the ULS.

Note that, despite severe cuts in funding over the next two years, all ULS basic services and opening hours remain the same. The professional librarians who have been re-assigned to new positions are as follows:
